In order for a person to be healthy and remain healthy, he or she should engage in regular physical activities like exercise. Causes of Back Pain

On the other hand, back pain may also be linked to normal body processes, such as in women. During a woman’s menstrual cycle, most of her muscles become tender, and she often experiences abdominal cramps coupled with even acute back pain.

Back Pain During Pregnancy:

Women also commonly experience back pain while pregnant. As the belly of a pregnant woman enlarges, the additional weight unavoidably strains her backbone. This usually occurs during her third trimester.

Back Pain Remedies

How can back pain be prevented? For starters, if you are interested in engaging in physical activities like sports, be sure to follow a warm-up routine with stretching or callisthenics. Also, avoid carrying heavy items on a regular basis. When sleeping, try to choose the best mattress and pillows that can support your back well. At the workplace, try to put back supporters on your desk chair, especially if you sit on it for long periods of time.

Back Pain Treatments

When a person is suffering from back pain, he can take back pain medication. Patients, can take back pain medicines like acetaminophen or ibuprofen that help relieve back pain. You can also apply topical pain reliever creams that contain salicylic acid. For more severe back pain cases , one may be required to have an X-ray to check if there are slipped discs on the spine or none. Other alternative treatments for back pain include chiropractic procedures and acupuncture.
